native of Duluth, Minnesota, Gena Lee Nolin and
her family moved to Las Vegas for her senior year in high school.
At the recommendation of friends, she entered and won the Miss Las
Vegas contest. She quickly gained the attention of several modeling
agencies, winning the Ford Agency and Elite Agency regional "Look
of the Year" contests and the Miss Barbizon USA national title.
After graduation, Gena Lee Nolin headed to Los
Angeles to pursue an acting career. Like many aspiring actors, she
paid her dues waiting tables at places like The Larry Parker Diner.
She also attended Santa Monica college where she studied interior
design.
In 1994, Gena Lee Nolin saw an ad in the paper
for The Price Is Right. At the cattle-call audition, she beat out
hundreds of others, winning a spot as one of the game show's showcase
models. "It was a great job. We would work three days a week,
filming two shows a day with a ten day break every two weeks. It
allowed me time to continue with my studies and auditions."
Gena Lee Nolin appeared on "The Young &
The Restless," playing the part of a young model named Sandy.
In addition to her role on "Baywatch," Gena can be seen
doing guest commentary on the popular entertainment magazine show,
"Extra!" She also recently hosted a USA Network Special
"The 50th Anniversary of the Bikini."
Entertainment Tonight was on hand to tape Gena Lee Nolin
surprise when it was announced that she was the newest member of
the Baywatch cast. The 25-year-old former model was reading with
star David Hasselhoff when he held up an inner tube saying 'Surprise!
You got the part.' "I saw this inner tube out of the corner
of my eye, but I just kept reading my sides until someone yelled
'read the tube.' I was stunned," she says. When not on the
set of Baywatch, Gena Lee Nolin enjoys gardening
at her home in West Los Angeles which she shares with her husband,
Greg Falhman , her cat Milo and her cocker spaniel Clifford.
Gena Lee Nolin combines the charm of "the
girl next door" with the sophistication of "the girl seen
around the world" to bring you her new swimsuit calendar. Gena
met her husband, Greg Fahlman, while handing out leaflets at a trade
show in Las Vegas! The couple married in Las Vegas in November 1993.
